Wolves and Roma play pre-season games in Algarve

Algarve will host the teams of Portuguese coaches José Mourinho and Bruno Lage

Wolverhampton (England) and Roma (Italy), led by Portuguese coaches Bruno Lage and José Mourinho, respectively, will play pre-season games in the Algarve.

After facing Sporting at Estádio do Algarve, on the 30th, the English will play with Farense, at Estádio de São Luís.

This game will serve as an introduction to the Algarve team.

As for Roma, by José Mourinho, they will be in Albufeira next week to play three games at the Municipal Stadium: the “Albufeira International Cup”.

For 11 days, between the 13th and 24th of July, the Portuguese-led team will train at this Algarve stadium.

“It is very satisfying to have such a brilliant team and a sports personality as recognized as José Mourinho, in Albufeira”, says José Carlos Rolo, mayor of Albufeira.

The arrival of the Italian delegation next week will have around 80 elements, including players, technical, medical staff, wardrobes and managers and will have, according to vice-president Cristiano Cabrita, «a direct impact on the local economy, insofar as it values the Albufeira brand nationally and internationally, particularly in Italy».

On the 13th of July, at 11:00 am, Roma will face Sunderland. On the 16th of July, at 19:00, the Italy team plays against Portimonense and on the 23rd, at 19:00, against Nice.

Tickets are already on sale at byblueticket.pt and on the day of the match at the Albufeira Stadium ticket office.
