The Municipality of Portimão is recruiting sports technicians to perform functions in the areas of physical activity and sport.
Applications, which run until the 7th of August, are aimed at people aged 18 or over, with adequate qualifications and professional training.
Admitted candidates will start exercising their activity from the 2022/2023 sports season, in September, and the requirements for this recruitment and the characterization of the technical functions to be performed are available at the website of Portimão City Council.
According to the municipality, these technicians will perform functions in municipal sports facilities such as the Sports Pavilion of Portimão, Sports Pavilion of Boavista and Sports Complex of Mexilhoeira Grande.
The technical functions to be performed will be related to the sports promotion and development programs promoted by the municipality with the community, namely the municipal projects Exercise & Health,
Portimão Gym, Municipal School of Dance, Swimming School, Inclusive Swimming, Aquatic Therapies and Aquatic Fitness – projects that annually bring together about a thousand users enrolled in the different classes.
