“What does programming mean?” is the subject of the next debate by Acesso Cultura, scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, at 18:30 pm, at the headquarters of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, in Faro.

Taking place within the scope of the Access Culture Week 2022, the debate will have as guests Diana Bernedo, actress, director, trainer and programmer, artistic co-director of the company JAT – Janela Aberta Teatro and of MOMI – International Festival of Physical Theater – Algarve, Giacomo Scalisi, co-director Lavrar o Mar Cooperativa Cultural, and Liliana Ferreira, Senior Technician at the Municipality of Lagos, in the area of ​​Culture. The moderation is in charge of Elsa Cavaco, from DRCAlg.

What is the role of a cultural organization in your locality? What does it mean to “program” a cultural institution? What qualifications are needed to do so? What kind of conditions must exist? These are some of the issues that will be addressed by guest speakers and participants in the debate.

Access Culture organizes debates open to professionals in the cultural sector and to all people interested in reflecting together on issues related to accessibility – physical, social and intellectual – and which have an impact on the work of cultural agents and facilities and on the relationship with people. with different profiles.

Access Culture debates take place, simultaneously, in the cities of Faro, Aveiro, Castelo Branco, Covilhã, Évora, Famalicão, Funchal, Lisbon, Ponta Delgada, Porto and Torres Novas.
