GNR catches man suspected of 8 robberies in Loulé

The man still tried to run away, but was “later arrested”

A 45-year-old man, suspected of being the author of eight robberies, using a white weapon, in the municipality of Loulé, was arrested in the act last Thursday, 12 May. 

According to the GNR, the military “managed to locate the suspect” while he was carrying out a robbery “in a commercial establishment in Loulé”.

The man still tried to flee, but was “later arrested”.

The GNR seized the vehicle that the suspect was using, "two kitchen knives and various pieces of clothing".

The detainee was made a defendant and will be present at the Loulé Judicial Court, to know the coercive measures.
