Orluis Aular (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA) wins Volta ao Alentejo

The last stage was won in the sprint by Juan Jose Lobato (Euskaltel – Euskadi)

The Venezuelan cyclist Orluis Aular (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA) won this Sunday, March 20, the Volta ao Alentejo by bike, whose last stage ended in Évora.

The athlete, who was already wearing yellow, managed to hold the lead in the general classification and win the race.

Arriving at the sprint, Aular finished in 4th place, which allows him to celebrate this victory.

The stage was won by Juan Jose Lobato (Euskaltel – Euskadi), with a time of 3 hours, 55 minutes and 50 seconds.

The two Algarve teams in the competition – Aviludo/Louletano and Atum General-Tavira-Maria Nova Hotel – did not place any cyclist in the top 15.
