Laboratory at the GAMA RAMA gallery will allow children to explore sounds

Workshop will have Nuno Murta as trainer

A sound exploration laboratory dedicated to children, with trainer Nuno Murta, will take place during the morning of the 12th of February, at the GAMA RAMA gallery, in Faro.

Divided into two groups, the first at 10:00 am and the second at 11:30 am, the children participating in this workshop will «produce organic and electronic sounds, capture the sound from different types of microphones and manipulate them through effects processors», says the GAMA RAMA gallery.

From this workshop, which aims to «explore, in an experimental way, different ways of producing, capturing and manipulating sound», «unique sound experiences» will result.

Nuno Murta, as a musician, has already «several albums recorded and participated in documentary and film soundtracks».

In the area of ​​theater, he «develops work as a sound engineer and sound technician» and, in the area of ​​sound exploration, he developed the project “Cañon Club”, coordinated the project “Orquestra Lixo” and currently, as a resident artist at LAC – Laboratory of Activities Criativas, develops the “Pedra Parva” project and provides training in the area of ​​sound in the ARTLAB project.
