The Municipal Assembly (AM) of Portimão will meet for the 1st Ordinary Session of 2022, on February 25, at 21:00 pm, in the Auditorium of the Municipal Museum.
According to edict of this session of the Portimão AM, after the intervention periods of the citizens and before the agenda, there will be an appreciation of the written information presented by the mayor of Portimão.
The agenda will be opened with the discussion and vote on the acceptance of all the proposals contained in the Final Report of the Monitoring Committee and the respective Draft Protocol for the transfer of competences, in the areas of management of areas and human resources, to be transferred from APS – Administration of the Ports of Sines and Algarve and of Docapesca – Portos and Lotas for the municipality of Portimão,.
On the table will also be the discussion and vote on the draft of the Program Contract to be signed between the municipality of Portimão and EMARP - Municipal Water and Waste Company of Portimão, for the adoption of social prices for the year 2022 by the company and the assumption of the respective charges by the municipality.
The Municipal Assembly will also debate and vote on the recruitment authorization for the occupation of four jobs using the recruitment reserve.
The approval of the Cash Flow Map for the year 2021 and the Supplementary Report, the transfer of powers within the scope of Social Action and the approval of the first amending amendment to the Income and Expenditure Budget for the year 2022 and to the Major Options of the Plan for the 2022-2026 five-year period are other topics to be addressed at this meeting.
A voting citizen will also be appointed by the Municipal Assembly, preferably with special knowledge or skills to intervene in the area of children and young people in danger, and the Commission for the Commemorations of the 25th of April will be voted for the 2021-2025 term.
