Nine hand hooks were seized by the Maritime Police this Friday, February 11, in the area of Cabanas beach (Tavira).
The apprehension took place during an inspection action, in which “several people were detected who were in full activity of catching bivalves”, using hand hooks.
People fled when they saw the Maritime Police.
Six elements of the local Command of the Maritime Police of Tavira were involved in this action, supported by a boat and a 4×4 vehicle.
