Susana Travassos honors her father Fernando Reis with a concert in Loulé

“My father is a bird” is the name of the show

The singer Susana Travassos will give a concert on the 6th of February, starting at 17:00, at Cineteatro Louletano, in honor of Fernando Reis, his father and director of Jornal do Algarve who died in December last year. 

This will be a "special" show.

The concert, entitled “My father is a bird”, will feature themes from Susana Travassos’ latest album (“Pássaro Palavra”), but also other songs that marked the singer’s relationship with her father.

Fernando Reis died on December 4, 2020, aged 66, at the Hospital of Faro, where he was hospitalized for several weeks.

Born in Vila Real de Santo António, he had a degree in History, having been a secondary school teacher for a few years in schools in his homeland and Loulé.

In 1983, he founded Viprensa, a company that became the owner of Jornal do Algarve, having been its director since then, although at first alternating with José Lança.
