The Socialist Party was the most voted force in Vila Real de Santo António and secured a significant victory, with 46,76% (3703 votes), well above the 18,61% (1474 votes) of the PSD, which came in second.
Chega, as it should happen at regional and national levels, was the third most voted force, collecting 958 votes (12,1%).
The CDU, with 7,73% and 612 votes, was fourth, followed by BE (439 votes, 5,54%) and the Liberal Initiative (199 votes, 2,51%).
In all, 7920 voters, out of 16.852 registered, voted, with abstention standing at 53%.
