The Trio André Rosinha, led by bassist André Rosinha and backed up by pianist João Paulo Esteves and drummer Marcos Cavaleiro, presents this Saturday, November 20th, at 21 pm, on stage at TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão, the second and most recent album “Tree”.

André Rosinha is part of the projects of Salvador Sobral, Júlio Resende and João Barradas, having played with national and international jazz protagonists, such as Mário Laginha, Greg Osby, Abe Rabade or Perico Sameat.

He has two albums in his own name – “Pórtico” (2017) and “Árvore” (2019), both distinguished by the national critics, and it will be the latter that, together with João Paulo Esteves da Silva and Marcos Cavaleiro, he will present in Portimão.

Although it has dense areas, “Árvore” «is an album basically composed of simple and free music, with space for everyone to leave their own musical personality. It lives from moments of interaction between members and explores the concepts of individual and collective improvisation», says the Portimão autarchy.

The pieces «are captivating and innovative, featuring influences from various musical styles, such as jazz, boleros, folk and classical music».

Tickets have a cost of 10 euros and are at online sale and at the TEMPO ticket office.
