One of the novelties this Christmas at Forum Algarve is Vila do Gui, which has attracted many families to the commercial center of Faro, thrilled to collect the house, school, bakery and all the other buildings that make this town so special.
To start this construction, the children will have to go to Aldeia Natal and request the Gui's book. With it, a folding board is delivered, where the 3D elements will then be placed. Every weekend, until Christmas, different pieces to assemble will be offered free of charge.
But there are more reasons to visit Aldeia Natal. Anyone who goes there will be greeted by the most famous white-bearded old man, you can take a picture with him, give him a letter with your wishes for this season and even create a digital postcard to send to your loved ones.
Very close to Aldeia Natal is the biggest ice rink in the Algarve and it will be there until the 9th of January, to provide many moments of fun for all visitors.
«A Christmas Gift for the Planet»
This year, Gui's book is entitled «A Christmas Gift for the Planet». This 15th story, like the previous ones, aims to awaken a taste for reading in younger people and, at the same time, emphasize that each one of us can and should contribute to improving the world.
This time, through the adventure of Gui and his friends, the aim is to make everyone aware of the importance of sustainable mobility.
This year's creative competition is also alluding to the theme of sustainability. On the 1st floor of the commercial center of Faro, the 38 bicycles in the competition are on display, decorated by students from schools in the county.
There will be prizes for the schools of the three bikes most voted by visitors and, for the first time, the Creativity Prize will be awarded, which will be awarded by the Forum Algarve's creative agency.
