The Group of Friends of the Portimão Museum (GAMP), on the occasion of its 7th anniversary, promotes the solidarity concert “De Bach a Piazzolla”, with Carla Pontes (soprano) and Gonçalo Pescada (accordion), in the Auditorium of the Portimão Museum, on December 4th, at 21 pm.

This will be a friendly and solidary initiative, with free entry, but limited to the capacity of the room, so the GAMP asks everyone to bring a food or hygiene item, on the day of the show, to donate to a Social Solidarity Association of Portimão .

In this concert of voice and accordion, the lyrical singing of the soprano Carla Pontes joins the classical accordion of Gonçalo Pescada, in a unique and rare moment of musical sharing, especially since the accordion is not normally associated with classical music.

This musical session begins with Bach and ends with Piazzolla, passing through themes by Zeca Afonso, Carlos Paredes and Gershwin, among other composers.

GAMP members should preferably pick up their tickets, until December 1st, at the reception of the Portimão Museum, between 10:00 and 17:00.
From the 2th until 17:00 on the 4th, tickets can also be collected by the general public.

The show will last approximately 60 minutes, without a break, subject to the safety rules in force, where the use of a mask and presentation of the COVID19 Vaccination Certificate will be mandatory.
