The In Loco association is accepting, from today until November 30th, applications for support for the transformation of agricultural products and diversification of PDR 2020 activities.
The support falls within the scope of the Local Development Strategy for the Interior of the Central Algarve, of which In Loco is the managing entity.
In all, two notices were released.
The first contemplates “Small Investments in the Transformation and Marketing of Agricultural Products” and the applications presented to it “should contribute to the process of modernization and training of companies involved in the transformation and marketing of agricultural products”, according to the association.
In the measure "Diversification of Agricultural Activities", the other notice launched, "the objectives are to stimulate the development, in agricultural holdings in operation, of activities other than the production, transformation or marketing of agricultural products provided for in Annex I of the TFEU, creating new sources of income and employment and directly contributing to the maintenance or improvement of household income, the settlement of the population, the occupation of the territory and the strengthening of the rural economy».
The support provided for in both measures ranges from 40% to 50% of the eligible investment, in the form of a non-refundable subsidy.
The investments must be located in the territory of the Interior Algarve Central, which covers the following parishes: Guia and Paderne, in the municipality of Albufeira; Santa Bárbara de Nexe, Conceição and Estoi, in the Municipality of Faro; Alte, Ameixial, Boliqueime, Salir, São Sebastião and Querença, Tôr and Benafim, in the municipality of Loulé; Pechão and Moncarapacho and Fuseta, in the Municipality of Olhão; São Brás de Alportel; São Bartolomeu de Messines and São Marcos da Serra, in the municipality of Silves; Cachopo, Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo and Luz de Tavira and Santo Estêvão, in the municipality of Tavira.
