A total of 373 euros are being invested in various works on the roads and streets of some localities in the municipality of Aljezur, announced today the local Council.
In Bordeira, the entrance to the village (Rua Dom Álvaro Afonso) will be improved by repaving the street, as well as the parking lot, with bituminous concrete, at a value of around 43 thousand euros.
On Estrada do Carrascalinho, between Igreja Nova and Poções, 150 thousand euros will be spent on repairing the sections in a worse state of repair, with the application of bituminous concrete, as well as on the installation of speed-reducing humps and pedestrian crossings and respective signage. , in the locality.
The third intervention will cost 150 euros and will target the 19 de Abril Variant, in Odeceixe, as well as the road to Praia de Odeceixe, on stretches in poor condition. Signaling will be further improved.
Finally, the fourth contract refers to the improvement of Rua Direita, in Carrapateira, at a value of around 30 thousand euros. This is a street where infrastructure had been replaced and will now be repaved.
The City Council of Aljezur adds that "these interventions will be carried out within a period of 90 days".
These works to improve various sections of roads and roads are intended to provide "better traffic conditions and more safety", adds the municipality.
