A 69-year-old man was arrested and 87 cannabis plants were seized, in the municipality of Lagos, in an operation by the Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) of the Portimão GNR, which took place yesterday, 17 August.
The Territorial Command of Faro The GNR reveals that the steps began "following a complaint", which led the Guardsmen to locate "a cannabis plantation on agricultural land".
In addition to the 87 cannabis plants, two liters of fertilizer, a motor pump and a water tank with 1000 liters of capacity were also seized.
The detained man is being present at the Judicial Court of Lagos to apply the coercive measures.
