This Friday, August 27th, at 22 pm, “Verão em Tavira” will receive a concert by Frankie Chavez and Peixe, with the presentation of their first discography work Miramar, at Palácio da Galeria Park (Tavira).
Frankie Chavez and Peixe are united by their work with the guitar, having their first record work together was released in January 2019. It was considered one of the best national albums and nominated for best European independent album of the year by the specialized critics.
Peixe started to be noticed more than 20 years ago with Ornatos Violeta, «but that was just the beginning of a long and rich journey. Then Pluto, Zelig's experiences and two great solo albums “Apneia” and “ Engine”, says the Tavira municipality in a note sent to the newsrooms.
Frankie Chavez «has established himself, since his debut in 2010, as one of the most stimulating musicians of his generation», being inspired by the blues and the most classic rock. He has taken – whether alone or in company – his music farther and farther.
Live will be presented with images manipulated in real time “Memorabilia”, in a selection of archive films in 8mm made by the director Jorge Quintela, highlighting this “concert-film” in the mutual inspiration between both universes (music-image ).

For free shows, tickets will be available the day before the performance. A maximum of two tickets are available per person.
