Sandra Rosário is the new president of In Loco, succeeding Artur Gregório in the position, following the General Election Assembly of this local development association based in São Brás de Alportel, which took place on April 24th.
The new governing bodies took office on April 25th.
Despite the change of president, the composition of In Loco's corporate bodies did not change substantially.
«The Assembly and the Supervisory Board remain, as well as three members of the previous board [including Sandra Rosário, who was already a member of this body since 2005], which was renewed with the inclusion of two new members», according to the association.
The new president, training manager, joined the Association in 1996, being born in Martinlongo, Alcoutim.
The new direction «relies on dedication, a spirit of dedication and respect for the work of the past, in order to contribute to a future of consensual action, shared among all and, above all, of collective commitment», summarized In Loco.
The new team «intends to maintain the current areas of work, seeking to intervene again in areas that were already part of its history, as long as they are necessary in the territory and involving the people who inhabit it. Partnerships will continue to be part of the intervention strategy, animation is a requirement in the way we operate».
