Ana Cabecinha finishes 20 kilometers march in 20th place

For Ana Cabecinha, this was a worse result than what she did in 2016, at the Rio Games, in which she finished in 6th position.

Ana Cabecinha, an athlete from the Clube Oriental de Pechão (Olhão), finished the 20-kilometer march, held this Friday, August 6, in 20th position. 

Cabecinha was still in the lead group in the first kilometers, but ended up losing contact with the leaders and was unable to recover.

The athlete completed the 20 kilometers in 1 hour, 34 minutes and 8 seconds.

This race was won by Italian Antonella Palmisano who finished in 1 hour, 29 minutes and 12 seconds. In second place was Sandra Arenas (Colombia) who covered the 20 kilometers in 1 hour, 29 minutes and 37 seconds.

The podium was closed with Liu Hong (China) who completed this demanding race in 1 hour, 29 minutes and 57 seconds.

For Ana Cabecinha, this was a worse result than what she did in 2016, at the Rio Games, in which she finished in 6th position.
