Exhibitions and observation of the "Lua Formosa" to celebrate the 24 years of Ciência Viva de Faro

Admission is free, but registration is mandatory.

The Live Science Center of the Algarve, in Faro, will celebrate its 24th anniversary on Tuesday, August 3rd, with free visits to two exhibitions and a “Brief meeting with the Formosa Moon”.

During that day, entry to the center is free, although subject to prior registration, as places are limited. Interested parties should send an email to [email protected].

At 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 14:00 pm and 15:30 pm, the exhibitions “Saber+, Eat well, Andar Melhor” and “Da Ria à Minha Rua” can be freely visited, as well as the temporary exhibition “Paleoenvironmental Reconstructions of Mozambique for 252 Million Years – Converging Geosciences with Art and Communication”, which will be inaugurated on that day and will be open until the 26th of November.

From 15:30 pm and always in a quarter in a quarter of an hour, until 16:30 pm, visitors are invited to a “Brief Encounter with the Formosa Moon”, in short sessions for daytime observation of the moon with a telescope.
