Águas do Algarve company will carry out energy audits of facilities in the region

Audits will cost more than 44 thousand euros, with a term of 300 days

The company Águas do Algarve awarded the contract for the acquisition of services for the “Conduct of Energy Audits”, on the 7th of June, to the company Lipronerg – Projeto e Consultoria Energética, in the amount of 44,5 thousand euros, with the term of validity 300 days.

This contract consists of carrying out energy audits for the installations, in the eastern area, of the Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP) in Vilamoura, Vila Real de Santo António, Quinta do Lago, Faro Northwest, Almargem, Loulé, Olhão Nascente, and also the CE3 Elevating Stations (EE) of Vilamoura and Final of Vila Real de Santo António.

In the western zone, audits will be carried out at Companheira, Vale Faro, Albufeira Poente, Lagos, Ferreiras, Boavista and also in the pumping stations (EE) of Pêra, Final de Lagos, Frente Gil Eanes, Penina, Semina, Armação de Pêra and de Vau.

Águas do Algarve «performs these energy audits, with a view to understanding the energy performance of specific stages/equipment of the installations, in different operating regimes, being also relevant information, with a view to evaluating the performance of exploration and adoption service providers specific measures that can be implemented», explains the company.
