The exhibition “Via Algarviana – A Praise for Nature: Traditional Crafts” will be on display from 12 January to 7 February, at Espaço+, in Aljezur.

This exhibition is one of the results of this application to the Environmental Fund, included in the notice “Educarte: Educar para o Território” included in the National Strategy for Environmental Education 2020 program.

«More than a Great Pedestrian Route, Via Algarviana is a journey through the unique culture and heritage of the Algarve. This itinerant exhibition brings together a display of the pieces and elements identifying the arts and crafts of the low-density territories covered by the project: Alcoutim, Aljezur, Castro Marim, Monchique and Vila do Bispo», says the Aljezurense local authority.

Each panel presents each of the five municipalities. Each panel displays a description and an illustrative object of the trade/technique associated with the location, as well as an illustration of the routes along the Via Algarviana in the municipality.

This exhibition will be open until February 7, and can be visited from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 am to 16:00 pm.

The maximum number of simultaneous visitors is 6 people. The use of a mask is mandatory. For groups, namely for students from schools who want to visit it, they will have to make advance booking via email: [email protected].
