The body of a man, who seems to be the Moldovan fisherman who disappeared on the 13th near Foz de Odeleite, was found today, at 15:30 pm, on land, about a kilometer north of the Guadiana International Bridge, on the bank. from the Guadiana River.
The body was detected by elements of the Local Command of the Maritime Police of Vila Real de Santo António, during a patrol action.
"The Spanish authorities were immediately contacted, who will take care of the incident and transport the body to be autopsied, since the corpse was in Spanish territory," revealed the National Maritime Authority.
"The first signs point to the man found being the Moldovan fisherman who disappeared last Sunday, December 13, off the Guadiana river, near Foz de Odeleite, in the municipality of Castro Marim."
At the site were elements of the Local Command of the Maritime Police and the Vila Real de Santo António Life-Saving Station, supported by a personal watercraft and a boat.
