An elderly woman, aged 73, Portuguese, died today, in the early afternoon, in Vale da Telha, in the municipality of Aljezur, after having drowned in a swimming pool.
Source of the District Relief Operations Command told the Sul Informação that the alert was given at 12:34.
Death was declared on the spot by the INEM helicopter doctor, who was activated for this occurrence.
In the relief operations, 13 firefighters from Aljezur and INEM were involved.
