Tavira City Council bought two electric vans, «without pollutant emissions and engine noise», announced the local authority this Monday, 28 September.
These two Renault Kangoo ZE vehicles, 100% electric, cost around 57 thousand euros.
The vans come "to replace two diesel cars that had a very high mileage and whose gas emissions did not meet current legal quality standards."
«Electric cars are, more and more, a bet in the automobile industry, as they present an ecologically correct alternative and contribute to a cleaner planet», concludes the Tavirense autarchy.
