This rotation, to allow the park to be used by more people, is one of the hallmarks of the Chamber of Faro since it decided to terminate a lending agreement with the Users Association of Praia de Camping Park Faro, in September 2018.

At the time, the local authority gave users of the old campsite a year to vacate the space, removing the campervans and tents that had been permanently installed for several years.

Despite the time that was given, park users tried to avoid the exit, a few days before the deadline to leave the park, September 15, 2019. However, the injunction to suspend the termination of the lending agreement that they presented was not accepted by the court.

Days later, and after the president of the Chamber of Faro ter hardened the speech, the park was left vacant and the works started on the 25th of November.

A few days later, the new regulation was approved in the Chamber Meeting, the document that was submitted and approved by AM yesterday.

In addition to rotation, the regulation stipulates that the reception of the Praia de Camping Park Faro it will be open all year, from September 16th to June 15th, from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm, and from June 16th to September 15th, from 8:30 am to 22:30 pm.

The park has a total area of 20.372 square meters and capacity for 689 people, with 200 lots for camping/tents (575 people) and 24 lots for caravanning (114 people).

the PSD of Faro he came, however, in public, to congratulate the executive led by the social democrat Rogério Bacalhau for the approval of the document.

«Once the clause proposed by the President of the Chamber was approved, we can say that, for the first time in its history, Faro it will have a campsite open to all, with management based on the quality of the facilities and services provided and with a policy of rotation and respect for the use of public facilities», says the PSD Faro, which emphasizes “the determination of the social-democratic mayors” so that this outcome would be possible.
