The renovation work of the gardens of Praia de Monte Gordo will open tomorrow, Saturday, at 15:30 pm.
As part of this intervention, the municipality promoted the renovation of gardens and green spaces in this bathing area, installed new urban furniture and created new leisure areas.
The project “included the creation of three green areas with inland paths and various accommodation points”.
“The new central square, implemented next to the casino, represents one of the most visible aspects of the work, which is complemented by two green perimeters where new trees and other plant species adapted to the Mediterranean climate were planted”, according to the Chamber of VRSA.
The intervention cost around 186 thousand euros, plus VAT, and covered an area of 6 thousand square meters.
"These works complement the rehabilitation already carried out in the sand, in the last two years, which provided the beach with a pedestrian walkway with more than 2 kilometers in length and allowed the renovation of all the restaurants and beach facilities", concluded the village council. -real.
