The Pine Cliffs Resort, on the coast of the municipality of Albufeira, hosts, on the weekend of 15th and 16th February, the 10th edition of the Winners' Cup, one of the most prestigious sporting events in the Algarve dedicated to golf, tennis and paddle. The tournament brings together professional and amateur players from those three disciplines.
The final Winners' Cup 2020 golf tournament will kick off with shotgun and will take place at the Pine Cliffs Resort Golf Course. The final tennis tournament will take place at the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy. Both will take place on the 16th, starting at 8:00 am and 9:00 am, respectively, and will be disputed by the winners selected during the weekly competitions of 2019.
The awards ceremony takes place on Sunday, during a lunch at the O Grill restaurant, which will feature musical entertainment.
The prizes are already known: 1st place in the golf tournament will be awarded with a seven-night stay at Grosvernor House, Dubai, and for 1st place in the tennis tournament a four-night stay at the W New York is reserved. Both prizes are valid for two people.
Throughout the weekend, there will also be friendly paddle tennis and golf tournaments, as well as golf clinics given by Paul Tipper with the help of golf professional Miguel Boavida, tennis clinics with Frederico Gil, one of the most renowned tennis players Portuguese, and paddle clinics with Diogo Schaefer, paddle player who was part of the national team in 2018.
