A 30-year-old man was killed by a train on the Algarve Line this morning in Ferreiras, Albufeira.
Second revealed to Sul Informação the District Command for Relief Operations (CDOS), the running over happened at around 11:00 am in an area «already far from the Station, between Ferreiras and Tunes».
Rail circulation in this area continued to be interrupted at around 11:50 am today, the 4th.
There were 11 operatives at the site, supported by five vehicles, including Bombeiros de Albufeira, INEM and GNR.
