Adérito Silva is the new president of the PS council Faro. List C won List A, by Paulo Neves, by one vote, after a tie in the first vote. In the elections, which took place this Friday, February 21st, there was also a third candidacy headed by Ana Passos.
In the first vote, List A, by Paulo Neves, and List C, by Adérito Silva, got 66 votes each. The list B, by Ana Passos, earned 44.
Called to vote again, the militants ended up giving the victory to Adérito Silva's list, with 76 votes, against 75 on Paulo Neves' list. Ana Passos' list ended up with 28 votes. One blank vote and one null vote were also counted.
With this result, the PS Council Political Commission Faro has 13 elected from Adérito Silva's list, 12 from Paulo Neves' list and four from Ana Passos' list.
