VRSA hosts presentation session of “Portugal Inovação Social”

The presentation session is held in partnership with the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission and Vila Real de Santo António Council

A public session to present the “Portugal Inovação Social” initiative will take place next Monday, January 20, at 10:00 am, at the Vicente Campinas Municipal Library, in Vila Real de Santo António.

The initiative's target audience is companies, social economy entities, public associations and foundations, groups of schools and local authorities.

In addition to publicizing the financing instrument for the competition, the meeting also aims to provide information on the process for submitting applications that is open to the Algarve.

Portugal Inovação Social is a Portuguese public initiative created to dynamize the social investment market and the social economy sector, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship through the mobilization of around 150 million euros from the European Social Fund, in the context of the Agreement of Portugal 2020 Partnership.

The program, a pioneer in Europe, manages four financing instruments and intends to bring in more actors and capital to finance projects that constitute innovative solutions to combat problems – in the social areas and in public policies – that still lack effective answers.

The presentation session is held in partnership with the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission and Vila Real de Santo António Council.
