Lagoa installs LED lighting along the EN125

Work costs 73 thousand euros

The public lighting network along the urban section of the EN125, in Lagoa, is being reformulated by replacing the concrete poles with LED lighting.

According to the Câmara de Lagoa, "the intervention aims to improve the lighting on pedestrian and road access roads and, consequently, increase safety, with the placement also next to crosswalks".

In total, 31 luminaires will be installed, which will cost around 73 thousand euros.

At the same time, the City Council added that it had already asked EDP to "reform the network in the area surrounding the two roundabouts that cross the city (FATACIL and Lagoa/Carvoeiro intersection)".
