Residents of Tavira will be able to present proposals for the 2019 Participatory Budget in forums that will be promoted by the Chamber in the different parishes of the municipality, between 22 October and 17 November.

Each of the Tavirense parishes will receive two forums. The first will be in Luz de Tavira, on the 22nd, at 20:30, followed by Conceição, Santiago, Santa Luzia, Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo and Cachopo, in that order (see calendar below).

All persons, Portuguese or foreigners, aged 18 or over, residing and registered in the electoral roll of each parish of Tavira, can participate.

«Those interested must do so in their parish of residence, presenting and voting proposals to implement in that same territorial area», according to the Câmara de Tavira.

The Chamber up to 150 thousand euros to invest in the winning proposals, «committing to carry out, in each parish of the municipality, a project up to a budget limit of 25 thousand euros».
