The PDR 2020 LEADER measure will support small investments in agricultural exploration, small investments in the transformation and marketing of agricultural products and projects to diversify activities in agricultural holdings in the interior territories of the Central Algarve.
The contest for “Small Investments in Farming” opened on 26th of August and closes on 25th of October. The contest for "Small Investments in the Transformation and Marketing of Agricultural Products" opened this Thursday, September 19th, and ends on November 15th.
Finally, applications for projects "Diversification of Activities on Agricultural Holdings" they open on the 26th of September and close on the 29th of November.
As the IN LOCO Association explains, as the managing entity of the Local Action Group for the Interior of the Central Algarve, the planned support varies between 40% and 50% of the eligible investment, in the form of a non-refundable subsidy.
The investments must be located in the territory of the Interior Algarve Central, which covers the parishes of Guia and Paderne, in the municipality of Albufeira, Santa Bárbara de Nexe, Conceição and Estoi, in the municipality of Faro, Alte, Ameixial, Boliqueime, Salir, São Sebastião and Querença, Tôr and Benafim, in the municipality of Loulé, Pechão and Moncarapacho and Fuseta, in the municipality of Olhão, São Brás de Alportel, São Bartolomeu de Messines and São Marcos da Serra, in municipality of Silves, and Cachopo, Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo and Luz de Tavira and Santo Estêvão, in the municipality of Tavira.
