The final of the National Footvolley Championship takes place this weekend, 7th and 8th of September, at Carvoeiro beach, in Lagoa.
In the final competition of the 14th edition of the National Footvolley Championship, 12 teams will be in the competition, with 24 athletes.
Among the confirmed appearances, the five-time national champions in title, Nelson Pereira and Miguel Pinheiro (CD Póvoa), the two duos that stand out in the season, namely Filipe Santos/Beto Correia (CD Póvoa) and David Peres/Djalmir Andrade (FC 11) Esperanças) and the experienced duo composed of Alan Cavalcanti/Alexandre Oliveira (Xande).
Younger players will also participate.
With teams divided into 4 distinct groups, the start of the games and the Group Stage is scheduled for 9:00 am on Saturday 7th September.
The round of 14 starts at 00:20, followed by the quarter finals until around 15:XNUMX.
With the national title on the horizon, Sunday afternoon will begin, at 14:30 pm, with the first game of the semi-finals.
Around 17:30 pm the grand final will begin.
The victory guarantees 2 euros to the winners, as well as the possibility of representing Portugal in the European Football Championship in 2020.
The event and its most decisive moments will be covered in livestreaming worldwide on mycujoo.tv and the final will be broadcast live on the sports channel A Bola TV.
Organized by the National Football Federation, the event will have as main supporting entities, the Municipality of Lagoa, AlgarExperience, Claw, Sports Partner, MyCujoo, as well as other local partners.
