Ambifaro it is already a municipal company with a quality certificate

The Ambi municipal companyFaro This Friday, September 6th, it received the Quality System Certification: a «first step towards providing a better service and in a more qualified manner». 

The session took place at the Municipal Market, one of the facilities that is managed by AmbiFaro, a company that was recently involved in controversy, with the departure of Sandra Ramos, former chairman of the Board of Directors (and wife of Paulo Santos, vice-president of the Chamber).

Sophie Matias, councilor of the municipality, is the new leader of the municipal company and showed, to Sul Informação, your satisfaction with the delivery of this Quality System Certification.

“For us, it's a happy day. We want to improve the service we provide and do it in a more qualified way, more results-oriented and based on a better relationship with our customers and partners», he said.

The approval of this certification translates, in practical terms, into the possibility of AmbiFaro operate more efficiently, reach new markets and identify and resolve risks.

“Certification is very important because it helps us to understand where we should improve, how we should improve and this is a first step towards that. We want to be an even better and more sustainable company», explained Sophie Matias to our newspaper.

Rogério Bacalhau, president of the Chamber of Faro, said, in turn, that this is "the end of a process that began in 2017".

«The end is always important because it is concluded and because it has reached a goal which, in the end, is certification. For me, the most important thing is the process itself, the analysis of what was done, how it was done and the attempt to stabilize processes to improve the service. Today it is a symbolic act, but the work that was done of analysis is, for me, the most important part of this whole process», he added to Sul Informação.

And for the future? Sophie Matias revealed that the goals are to advance with certificates in the areas of internal control, the environment and the reconciliation of family and professional life.
