Sandra Ramos removed as president of Ambifaro

Operation “Open Market” is investigating suspicious links between the Chamber and AmbiFaro

Sandra Ramos was, this Friday, July 19, removed from the position of president of the municipal company Ambifaro. The decision was taken by Rogério Bacalhau, president of the Chamber, who named councilwoman Sophie Matias as the new leader.

As members, Bacalhau chose councilors Adriano Guerra, who replaces the new president in her absences and impediments, and Carlos Baía.

O Sul Informação knows that Hugo Geraldo, former general director of AmbiFaro, also left his post, being replaced by Vanda Vicente, from Ambifaro.

According to the local authority, these decisions are linked "with the imperative need to defend the public interest, through the preservation of a climate of total stability and serenity in the relationship of Ambifaro EM and the Municipal Market with company employees, operators and also with all partners».
