Anjos and Calema go to Monchique to sing and taste the ham

In addition to the well-known ham from Monchique, there are handicrafts and other gastronomic products

Anjos and Calema are the two headliners of another Monchique Ham Fair, which will take place on the 20th and 21st at São Sebastião Park, in this mountain village.

Throughout the weekend, “the genuine and exclusive traditional Serra de Monchique ham” will be made known, as well as local handicrafts, sweets, bread, arbutus and other products, according to the Municipality of Monchique.

On Saturday, at 22 pm, musical entertainment will be guaranteed by Anjos, a Portuguese band that celebrates 00 years of career in 20.

On Sunday, at the same time, Calema, a group composed of Fradique and António Mendes Ferreira, both from São Tomé and Príncipe and heavily influenced by African musical culture, take to the stage.

The event, organized by the Monchique Chamber, has free admission.
