The Marches of Quarteira and São Clemente will parade this Monday, June 24, starting at 21 pm, in Praça da República, in front of Loulé City Hall.
«The intention is, in this way, to bring to the city of Loulé the tradition of the Popular Saints of Quarteira, the wealth of costumes and the choreographies of the groups that make this one of the biggest tourist attractions in the county», says the Chamber.
But the marchers from Quarteira will not be alone in this presentation. They are joined by the Marcha de S. Clemente which will show that, despite being more recent, it is also already in the festive spirit of the Popular Saints.
The presentation of the marches will follow the following order: Popular March of S. Clemente, March of the António Aleixo Foundation, March of Florinhas de Quarteira, March of Rua Gago Coutinho, March of Poeta Pardal, March of Rua do Outeiro, March of Rua Vasco da Gama and March of Rua da Cabine.
