Alcoutim will take students from schools in the county to baths, during this summer, in a new free time occupation program that will run from the 24th of June to the 31st of July.
The “Let's go to Baths” initiative is aimed at students from the 5th to the 12th grade and consists of trips to the Municipal Swimming Pool in Martim Longo, the river beach and canoeing in Alcoutim, always in the morning.
«The objective of the initiative is to promote healthy lifestyle habits and an improvement in social relationships, occupying the county's students' free time», according to the Alcoutim Chamber.
Those interested in participating in the program must register with the City Council, at the Sports Services.
The necessary logistical and human support means, namely transport and monitoring of activities, will be guaranteed by the Chamber. Lunch is not included.
