Tavira will give a taste of seasonal agricultural products and show how they are produced, during the initiative to promote the Mediterranean Diet “Cabaz da Terra”, which will take place on June 2, at 16:30 pm, at Quinta das Marias, in Luz de Tavira.
The visit to this farm will be guided by Paulo Maria and Maria Paula, owners of the farm, with the coordination of municipal technician Corinne Romeira and "includes tasting and delivery of a basket with farm and seasonal products", according to the Câmara de Tavira .
Participation in the initiative costs €5 for adults and €1 for children over 6, to be paid directly to the producer. Interested parties must register by May 30, by filling out the form available online.
The Cabaz da Terra action is carried out within the scope of the “Mediterranean Diet All Year” program and counts on the participation of local farmers, «who make known their activity, the way they work the land, as well as the knowledge and Mediterranean flavours'.
