Susana Travassos takes songs from her new album to Lagoa

New CD is called “Bird Word”

The Algarve singer Susana Travassos will give a concert on April 30th, at 21 pm, at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, in Lagoa. 

A artist has new CD, called “Bird Word”, in an authorial work recorded in Buenos Aires, produced by the Argentine Alan Plachta, featuring his own compositions and unpublished songs by Luísa Sobral, Melody Gardot and Mili Vizcaíno.

By the way, the single “Não Doeu”, which draws attention to domestic violence, was composed by Luísa Sobral.

The song “reports the feeling of the woman who remains in an abusive relationship without being able to find a way out”, as Susana Travassos explained.

For Câmara de Lagoa, this record places the Algarve «one of the main Portuguese singers of its generation».
