The Sweet Potato Festival in Aljezur, the Rallye Casinos do Algarve and the Barão de São João Hiking Festival in Lagos are featured in the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) November Events Guide. to be distributed at the posts of this entity and which can also be downloaded from the internet.
This month, RTA brings together a set of very distinct initiatives in its guide, appealing to different audiences. Altogether, it is suggested to those who visit the region (and, of course, those who live here), about a hundred events, «from music to theatre, exhibitions, dance, sports, parties and festivals, in addition to two dozen fairs of antiques and more than fifty markets».
Already underway is the Barão de São João Hiking Festival, in Lagos, the “Walk and Art Fest”. This event, as the name indicates, combines walks in direct contact with nature with an artistic component and runs until Sunday, October 4th.
Motorsport lovers will have a good reason to leave the house between 15 and 17 November, when Portimão, Lagos, Lagoa and Monchique will host the Rallie Casinos do Algarve. In this race, will meet the drivers who were in the first three positions of the various regional championships of the European Rally Trophy, a trophy that takes place throughout the year in seven European regions, covering 23 countries.
On the last day of the month, Aljezur starts to celebrate its sweet potato, with a festival that will run from November 30th to December 2nd.
Of the events scheduled for this month, many of which are within the scope of “365Algarve”, the concert that the Harlem Gospel Choir will perform on the 24th, at 21 pm, at Teatro das Figuras, in Faro, the show «Saudade – Back to Fado», by the dance company Quorum Ballet, on the 9th, at 21 pm, at the Cine-Teatro Louletano, and the São Martinho Fair, which starts today and lasts until the 30th of November, in Portimao.
