Tavira will have a Youth Action Plan, to be elaborated under the project «Tavira 2020 Youth» by the Tavirense Chamber, in collaboration with the ECOS Cooperative, until May.
This will be, according to Câmara de Tavira, a "dynamic and participatory" process, which "includes the holding of sessions aimed at consulting the opinion of young people in ten areas of action of the municipality". The first meeting with the young people is scheduled for March 8 and is intended to be “a time for work and reflection, as well as for the presentation of concrete proposals for action”.
“Based on the proposed challenges, a thematic working group will be created, composed of young people, technicians from the City Council, elements of civil society organizations and other stakeholders who will develop the 1st Youth Action Plan”, concluded the Tavirense autarchy.
