This evening, Moreirense guaranteed its presence in the semi-finals of the «Final Four» of the CTT Cup (League Cup) to be played on 26 January at the Estádio Algarve.

A Moreira de Cónegos' team beat Porto 1-0, in the 3rd round of qualifying group B, guaranteeing 1st place, thanks to the 7 points earned.

Francisco Geraldes was the hero of the game, scoring in the 49th minute the only goal of the game. The play started on the left, with Rebocho crossing to the entrance of the area where, alone, Geraldes beat José Sá.

In the other game of the group, Belenenses also played the passage to the «Final Four», but it did not go beyond a draw against Feirense. Fabinho headed the Santa Maria da Feira team's first goal, on 12 minutes.

Now, at 63, Tiago Caeiro moved to the back of the net and re-established equality. Miguel Rosa scored the winning goal for Belenenses in the 86th minute, with a great free-kick. In the last play of the match, Karamanos made the final draw.

In the end, group B ended up with Belenenses with 3 points, in 2nd position, Feirense in 3rd place, with 2 points, and Porto… in last place with 2 points won.

Moreirense is now waiting for the last round of group D, which is led by Benfica, to compete on the 10th.
