The illustration workshop “Folhas loose”, in charge of the sculptor Sara Navarro, on the 6th and 7th of February, and the initiative “Poesia n'a Praça – poetry market”, on the 25th, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, are some of the proposals from the João de Deus House-Museum, in São Bartolomeu de Messines, for the next month.
This initiative “Folhas loose” is aimed at students from the 1st and 2nd cycles of basic education in the parish of Messines, and will take place throughout the day. In 2014, Sara Navarro, who is also a sculptor, researcher and professor, completed her PhD in Fine Arts (Sculpture) “Sculpture, Archeology and Museums: Contemporary Transfigurations and Mediations”.

On February 16, at 14:30 pm, it will be the turn of the users of the Lifelong Education pole of Silves to participate in another cycle of memories “Cartilha Maternal, Conversas à Solta”, where the method of maternal primer of João de Deus.
The last action of the month takes place on February 25, between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm, with “Poesia n'a Praça – Poetry Market”. The action will take place at the Messines municipal market, where there will be a stand dedicated to the sale of poetry books, which will have books from small and large publishers, from the Algarve and Portugal, by poets from different generations and currents of writing.
Intended for foreign audiences, there will also be a space reserved at the stand dedicated to exchanging poetry books from other countries.
