Between 29 and 31 October, the Loulé Municipal Sports Pavilion receives the 6th edition of the “Loulé World Cup”, a World Cup event on Trampolines. At the same time, on the same days, the 10th edition of the “Loulé Cup” International Competition takes place, in the modalities of trampoline, double mini-trampoline and tumbling. The two events, which bring together around 550 gymnasts from 30 countries, will make the city of Loulé the “world capital of trampolines”.

In the “Loulé World Cup 2015” competition, around 150 gymnasts from 26 countries will participate, including Portugal, Belgium, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Spain, Algeria, Japan, Canada, Brazil, Egypt, Denmark, Sweden, Greece, Georgia, Ireland, Germany, Belarus, Australia, New Zealand, Azerbaijan, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Czech Republic and Turkey.

trampolines (1)The “Loulé World Cup” is the last international event that precedes the Trampoline World Championship, which takes place at the end of November, in Odense – Denmark. Therefore, «the city of Loulé receives many of the best gymnasts in the world in the modalities of trampoline and tumbling», adds the City Council.

The 10th edition of the international competition “Loulé Cup” «will allow younger gymnasts to participate in a high-level competition in preparation for the World Championships for Ages that will also take place in November, also in the city of Odense».

Around 400 gymnasts from 20 countries will participate in the “Loulé Cup”: Portugal, Spain, Great Britain, France, USA, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Italy, Australia, Russia, Japan , Canada, Greece, Ireland, Georgia.

The competition is organized by the Association of Parents and Friends of Gymnastics of Loulé (APAGL) and the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal, with the support of the Municipality of Loulé and with the high sponsorship of the International Gymnastics Federation.
