Algar's management and workers in tree planting actionThe company ALGAR will promote the planting of 20 almond trees at its premises in São João da Venda, in Faro, to celebrate Arbor Day. In addition to promoting this initiative, within the scope of its 20th anniversary celebrations – hence the number of trees chosen – the Algarve waste management company joins those that will be promoted by other entities this Saturday.

The company will collaborate with the Parish Council of Montenegro and with Glocal Faro in the planting of trees that these entities will carry out tomorrow, Saturday, through the transfer of the organic compound they produce from green waste, called «Nutriverde».

In addition, it will also support the group of volunteers belonging to the “Caminhada Verde” project, who on the same day will carry out a cleaning action at the Ribeirinho de Faro. The cooperation will be carried out through the provision of colored bags for the separation of recyclable packaging waste collected in the initiative (green for glass packaging, blue for paper/cardboard and yellow bags for plastic and metal packaging).
