A 52-year-old foreign citizen was arrested on Monday, the 16th, at 14 pm, in the Salema area, municipality of Vila do Bispo, on suspicion of drug trafficking and other illegal activities.
Following the house search, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the GNR Territorial Detachment of Portimão seized 16 cannabis plants, a quantity of narcotics, hashish and dry and ready-to-use cannabis for about 205 doses, 500 cannabis seeds and about 40 hermetic bags for storing narcotics.
The man lived in a house owned by a 63-year-old woman, also a foreigner, who was also a defendant in the process.
The detainee was present at the Court of Lagos yesterday, was subject to a Term of Identity and Residence, and the investigations during this action will continue to be carried out by the GNR.
