The Municipal Plenary of JSD/Portimão will meet once again next Saturday, November 12, at 21:30 pm, at the PSD's local headquarters, with guest João Correia, general secretary of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Portimão.

The direction of JSD/Portimão affirms that this invitation is intended to "stimulate the presence of young social democrats at the magna meeting", "bringing them ever closer to its Political Commission (CPC) and to local leaders." For this, the Board of Plenary Council, in articulation with the CPC, invited to make a thematic reflection, a picture of the most prestigious and oldest Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) in the county, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Portimão.

«By having, once again, a guest to share their experience and vision on a specific and current topic, we seek not only to encourage the presence of “jota” militants, but also naturally to make this statutory moment. it is a moment of formation and valorization of young social-democratic cadres».

«The choice of having a young cadre from the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Portimão as a guest is motivated by the worrying situation in which our Municipality is immersed in socio-economic terms and by our concern about the future of young people and the most disadvantaged (unemployed , retired, elderly, chronically ill, etc.) of our land», adds JSD/Portimão.

This structure argues that "more than just talking or making announcements on such a sensitive matter", it must increasingly meet the "institutions that are right on the ground, in the social area" and the "problems of young people from Portimo with solutions and simple and feasible proposals, as they are based on experiences and technical bases».
